In January-August 2018, Azerbaijan-based banks issued AZN 155.3 million in mortgage loans through Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, up 37.3% from the previous year, Report informs citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
In the reporting period, AZN 50 million was allocated from the state budget to Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, up 60.8% from a year earlier. The Fund issued AZN 135 million-bonds, down 10% by contrast to 2017.
