Gara Boyuk Khanum mansion - Built in Shusha in 1768, it was one of the mansions in the city-castle. The quadrangular mansion had a yard. There was defense regiment in these fortification mansions. Being positioned in outer edge of city-castle, these mansions were playing significant role in observing the surroundings and organizing solid defense in case of an enemy threat. Only two mansions - Panah Khan"s and Gara Boyuk Khanum"s mansion have survived up to now. It is an architectural monument of country importance.
