The mosque is in Upper Goychali village of Agstafa region. It was built in 1994. The backyard is 600 kv. metres, and the area of the praying hall is 8x8 metres.

Abulfazl Abbas mosque of Upper Goychali village is in the form of a quadrangle, and has been built with cubic stone and riverstone. The main arch is located in the front part of the entrance door. The inner walls of the mosque has been plastered with sand-cement solution and painted. The height of the minaret is 16 metres. The praying hall for women is on the second floor. Its area is 4x8 metres. The thickness of the walls of the mosque is 0,70 metres. The pulpit is from wood and six-stepped. The height of the alter is 4 metres and “Fatiha” sura has been written on it. The diameter of the dome is 6 metres, the height from the floor to the ceiling is 5 metres. The floor is ground. The round part of the dome has been laid with the verses of the Koran. The upper part of the minaret and the façade of the dome have been laid with white stone. The symbol of a half-moon has been painted on the minaret and dome.

Abulfazl Abbas mosque of Upper Goychali village has been built with the initiative of Abulfazl Mashadi Hanifa.
