There is a prismatic-cone-shaped big black stone in the sacred place of Akhura village of Sharur region. As in other sacred places around, small egg shaped black meteoritic stones were put around this interesting and rare celestial body.

Usually pilgrims from neighboring villages come to this sacred place. Among visitors, there are many childless families (women and men). They walk in the sacred place and resolve, ask children from God, scarify the animals they bring with themselves and give the meat to poor people. Intentions are usually accepted in this God’s place; young families are blessed with children that bring happy affairs. Our scientists suppose that Garadash Sacred Place in Akhura village was established in XIII-XIV centuries.
