The order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On raising salaries of teachers working in state general education institutions who underwent assessment of knowledge and skills” and “On raising salaries of teachers working in public institutions of vocational education, who underwent assessment of knowledge and skills and employees engaged in management and training activities" will cover a total of 160 thousand teachers.
It is informed citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population that the orders will bring the average salary to 605 AZN.
To ensure this growth, the state budget will additionally allocate AZN 240 mln annually, AZN 73 mln AZN in September-December of this year
