Azerbaijani female boxer Anna Alimardanova won silver medal at “Stranca” international tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria.
54 kg sportswoman lost final match against native Stanmira Petrova with score 2:3.
Notably, Anna Alimardanova was the only female representative of Azerbaijan at the tournament. Tayfur Aliyev (56kg) and Vusal Verdiyev (60kg), who stopped tournament at 1/4 finals, were best among our 9 male boxers.
277 boxers from 41 countries attended the tournament.
