“One of the issues of the Plan of Measures adopted due to the “Year of Tourism” in 2011 is to submit a draft law on tourism to the parliament”, said deputy chief of the tourism department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Mahir Gahramanov.
According to him, the new draft law was reviewed by the Cabinet of Ministers and sent to the Justice Ministry. Gahramanov said the new law would create additional opportunities for the development of tourism. “The draft law covers the international norms, duties of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, regulation of the activity for integration into the international tourism market”.
