When we first heard about Shakira's new single, we weren't sure if we were left more overwhelmed by its brain testing title, or the fact Rihanna stars as the guest feature. The Colombian sultress has a history of very good collaborations, so the stakes immediately shot sky-high once we knew the Bajan chart queen was firmly on board - not to mention all the daydreaming of the island jam grooves they could conjure up together.
Our anticipation was almost immediately satisfied by the jaunty ska bounces and beats more refreshingly tropical than RiRi herself supping on a carton of Vita Coco. "I keep forgetting I should let you go," they tell their no-good lothario, who seems to still have a hefty grip on their hearts. It's a romantic pitfall we think we're about to have with this very song - no matter how much we try, we have a feeling it won't be leaving the forefront of our affections anytime soon.
