The list of foreign universities and priority specialties abroad has been approved for Azerbaijani young people going to study in 2014/2015 academic year, deputy head of the Information Department of the Education Ministry, head of the Department on Work with NGOs and media outlets, Jasarat Valehov told.
He said that the new list has been approved under the order signed by the Commission on Education under the Azerbaijani President on February 10, 2014. According to the new list, in 2014/2015 academic year, the Azerbaijani young people will have the right to appeal to 544 universities of 33 countries to get education under the state program.
Under the “State Program for study of Azerbaijani youth abroad for 2007-2015”, 2612 young people have won the right to study at the leading foreign universities, 600 of them have already finished education. A positive decision has been taken on 766 candidates, who applied for studying abroad under the state program.
