The State Students Admission Commission is holding the first stage of the entrance examination for master’s degree in Azerbaijan.
APA reports that the exams are being held in 6 cities – Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Mingachevir, Shaki and Lankaran, totally in 39 buildings.
24 560 applied for the master's degree (21 623 in 2013).
21 874 of them are the graduates of Azerbaijani sector and 2 686 of Russian sector. 11 553 of them are boys and 13 007 girls. 73 of them are foreign citizens.
The examination starts at 13:00 and 2 hours and a half are given to the applicants for answering the exam questions.
Those passing the first and second stages of the exams will select master’s degree program and after the results of the second stage announced they will select specialties. The second stage of the entrance exams for master's degree program will be held on May 25, program selection on May 1-5, selection of specialties from May 29 to June 1.
