Azeri MP attends conference on Khojaly genocide in Turkey

Azerbaijani MP, member of Azerbaijan-Turkey interparliamentary friendship group Ganira Pashayeva has made a speech at the conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide in Turkey.
Pashayeva stressed the importance of making the Armenian armed forces` vandalism in Khojaly known to the world community.
“The Khojaly tragedy is the crime not only against the Azerbaijani people, but also against the whole humanity.”
The Azerbaijani MP invited the participants of the conference to attend a demonstration under the motto “We all are from Khojaly, we all are from Karabakh” to be held on February 26 at Taksim square in Istanbul.
The conference featured the demonstration of a Heydar Aliyev Foundation-made film and photos on the Khojaly genocide.
Head of Ceyhan municipality Huseyn Sozlu highlighted the chronology of the Khojaly genocide.
He urged all Turkic people to speed up efforts towards increasing the world community`s awareness of the Khojaly genocide.
