Construction works in Baku Crystal Hall, at which Eurovision-2012 song
contest will be held are already nearing completion. The crystals are
being set on the front of the building at the moment.
The European Broadcasting Union approved Baku Crystal Hall as a venue
for Eurovision-2012. Representatives of the European Broadcasting Union,
visited the stage of Baku Crystal Hall in January, got acquainted with
construction work and noted that the Hall meets the highest standards.
A special press center for journalists accredited to the competition is under construction near the Baku Crystal Hall.
The Baku Crystal Hall is the arena with a capacity of up to 23,000
spectators. Approximately 16,000 people will be able to attend each of
the three Eurovision Song Contest live shows in May.
