Hajj pilgrimage quota from Azerbaijan made public

Hajj pilgrimage quota from Azerbaijan has been made public.

The Caucasian Muslims Board told that quota of Hajj pilgrims from Azerbaijan is 3600 people. About 2 000 people have already submitted documents.

The CMB also said as there is an increase in the number of people, who have submitted documents for the holy Hajj pilgrimage in Azerbaijan, the quota can be increased by conducting negotiations with Saudi Arabia.

One flight will be operated on the first day. Following this, two or three flights will be operated every day. The flights from Azerbaijan will last till September 28. Azerbaijanis will return from Hajj pilgrimage 5 days after Eid al-Adha – approximately on October 10.

Eid al-Adha will be marked in Azerbaijan on October 4-5.

The document admission for Haji pilgrimage in Azerbaijan was started on February 13.
