Today, the execution of the pardon order has started in Azerbaijan. The pardon order was signed by President Ilham Aliyev on May 26.
Under the Order, 157 convicts have been released from the unserved part of their prison sentence; two persons were freed from conditional sentence, one from correctional work, and 11 from by fine.
The order was applied several foreigners, as well.
