New vaccines against tuberculosis are being made in the world, said Infectious Disease Specialist at the World Health Organization (WHO) Azerbaijan Office Javanshir Suleymanov.
According to him, now more than 10 vaccines against tuberculosis are being tested. The expert said that this new product will allow positive changes for the prevention of tuberculosis.
WHO representative noted that tuberculosis is one of the main causes of death among women at age from 15 to 44. 320 thousands women in the world died of tuberculosis in 2010.
