The weather in Azerbaijan will change from August 21. The temperature in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be close to the climate norm decreasing 4…5° C.
Director of the weather forecast bureau of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Umayra Taghiyeva told APA that windy weather will be observed in the country till the noon, August 23. So the temperature in the country will within the climate norms till August 24.
The temperature in Absheron peninsula will not be higher than 32…35° C for the next 2-3 days. Decrease in temperature in the capital is due to the strengthening of the north wind. The speed of the north wind will increase in the morning and at night on August 21, 22 and 23 and be 15-20 m/s and 25 m/s in some areas.
Tagiyeva added that as predicted, abnormally hot weather will prevail throughout the country till and including August 20.
The temperature will be close to climate norm from August 21.
Last day the temperature in the capital was about 5° C higher than climate norms last day.
