Azerbaijani language courses have been launched at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Zagreb University’s Magyar, Turkish and Jewish languages Department, AzerTag reports. The courses were launched by the Azerbaijani Embassy in partnership with the Azerbaijani Ministry of Education.
Speaking to the opening ceremony, Azerbaijani Ambassador Kamil Khasiyev hailed Azerbaijan-Croatia cooperation. The diplomat described the launch of the courses as “a strong signal of excellent cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries”. “It is also a historical step towards developing the relations in the educational sphere,” he added.
The opening ceremony was followed by the presentation about Azerbaijan’s history, culture, cuisine, and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
