New Eurovision 2012 arena project proposed

A new arena project was proposed for the 57th Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Baku in May, 2012. Group of Companies ADO-G proposed one of the versions for the Eurovision 2012 arena. The project of 16-storey arena proposed for Eurovision 2012. The company proposed 20 550-place arena, but it said the number of places could be increased to 25 500. 48 864-sq.m and 16-storey complex will be covered with a special roof, where a heliport deck will be built.
The concert hall will be equipped with all necessary engineering novelties, as well аs modern equipments and pure acoustics. There will be modern pyrotechnical equipments, modernized lights and installations on the 3800-sq.m scene with 30 m of altitude.
An Austrian-Swiss company won the tender announced for the construction of new Eurovision 2012 arena, which is planned to be built on the Flag Square toward the sea.
