The Heydar Aliyev Foundation and UNICEF implemented one more project in Baku on 2 April.
On 2 April-the World Autism Awareness Day, Azerbaijan also joined the action called ‘Light It Up Blue’.
As part of the action, the Baku Business Center, one of the buildings in the National Park, was lighted up blue.
It has already been the third consecutive year that the action ‘Light it up blue’ becomes a unique global initiative aimed to raise awareness about autism.
On this day, one of the most noticeable buildings in different parts of the world is lighted blue to show support for the action.
Autism is a term used to denote a disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. It develops at the age before three and is a disorder that hinders the brain development.
