A theatre with legendary IMAX format will be soon opened in Azerbaijan. The theatre will be built in one of the Flame Towers building complex.
Architect of DIA Holding Company Gudrat Danizoglu said that the hall of the theatre will accommodate 382 seats.
“IMAX technology will enable viewers to watch movies in virtual mode. The special geometric structure of the hall, huge screen and amazing sounds will turn the movies into a real adventure,” Danizoglu said.
According to the architect, the Flame Towers will also have five small cinemas to watch movies in normal mode.
IMAX is a motion picture film format and a set of proprietary cinema projection standards created by the Canadian company IMAX Corporation in 1970.
