Press center of the Eurovision-2012 Song Contest is open for local and foreign journalists from today. The Press Center differs in design, conditions created for journalists, design of special “Radio rooms”, interview rooms with Eurovision-2012 participants and the press conference hall. One of the interesting facts is the names of interview and recreation rooms. The journalists will have an opportunity to travel to Azerbaijan and Baku.
“Karabakh”, “Gandja”, “Shaki”, “Guba”, “Nakhchivan”, “Gabala”, “Khagani”, “Nizami”, “Sabir”, “”Khatai” rooms operate in the Press Center. Azerbaijani flag is waved in the monitor installed outside the Press Center. The flags of the participating countries are shown in the globe installed in the ground of the Baku Crystal Hall.
Event Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Sietse Bakker welcomed everybody in Azerbaijan. “I welcome everybody-delegations, media representatives and fans in Baku. Try to enjoy this event”- said Bakker to eurovision.az website. Bakker spoke about the advantages of the Press Center: “Baku’s Press Center is the best one among the Eurovision Press Centers that we have ever seen”.
He said that the people, who will come to Baku, would be satisfied with Eurovision-2012 preparations and Baku.
One more advantage in the Press Center is the Fandesk, where the media representatives and fans will vote. The voting will be implemented by new program for the first time in Azerbaijan.
