The sacred month of Muharram has begun in Azerbaijan.
The Caucasian Muslims Department reports that the start of the new year of 1437-the first day of the month of Muharram is on October 15, 2015 by Grigorian calendar.
Ashura dates to October 24. The Ashura-related events must be held in mosques, places of worship, as well as in special places.
