Moscow-based Azerbaijani composer and singer Emin Aghalarov presented his new album - After the Thunder and gave a concert in EuroClub, Baku.
Emin said he would present his new album in 20 countries and first presentation was held in Baku. The album goes on sale from May 28. It contains two songs in Russian and eleven in English.
Emin said Azerbaijan-host Eurovision 2012 song contest was held in the high level. This contest show the magnificence of the Land of Fire and everything was considered in details. “Azerbaijan was ready for the Eurovision contest in all spheres. Using Azerbaijani national musical instruments in my show during the final was my idea. I would like to show that all of us, these instruments and me, belong to the Azerbaijani culture”, Emin said.
The singer highly appreciated the performance of Azerbaijani representative Sabina Babayeva, who was the fourth in the contest final. He said it was difficult to be a Eurovision winner two years successively.
Emin performed Never Enough, which he sang during the Eurovision final show, as well as songs from the repertoire of the Azerbaijan’s world-renowned singer Muslim Magomayev.
Emin’s new album included Baby Get Higher, Never Enough, Heart Keeps Beating, Oxygen, Walk Through walls, After the Thunder, Beautiful Taboo, Dead Roses, Better and others.
