Ilham Aliyev, the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan attended the opening ceremony of “veterinary” village on December 28.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the building.
The president was informed about the conditions of the building.
According to the information, “Veterinary village” comprises the new administrative buildings of the State Veterinary Control Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan`s Republican Veterinary Laboratory and Azerbaijan Scientific-Research Institute of Veterinary. The project aims to protect sanitation and promote health, to prevent infectious diseases and to produce beneficial and dangerous animal products. Furthermore, this project will allow the State Veterinary Service to prevent deadly diseases. In this regard, the technical bases of the institutions will be strengthened and the institutions will be provided with equipment and veterinary drugs.
