On June 12, in Istanbul held awarding ceremony of the prizes to the
winners of the survey conducted by the influential Turkish magazine
“Ekovitrin”.
Speaking at the awarding ceremony, the owner of this
publication Abachyoglu Kamran said that the survey lasted two months,
from 34 nominations for 102 politicians, business, arts and sciences
received 251 000 562 votes.
As a result of the survey, the First
Lady of Azerbaijan, President Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mrs. Mehriban
Aliyeva became a winner in the "First Lady of the Year" for 2011.
The
prize in nomination "The Minister of the Year" was presented to the
Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Ertugrul Gunay, and the award
"international diplomacy" - the Secretary General of the Organization of
Islamic Cooperation Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
Among the winners -
presidents of prestigious universities in Turkey, Mustafa Aydin and
Sezer, Sener, owner of Çalık İnşaat Ahmet Calik, chairman of the
municipal district of Sisli Istanbul Mustafa Sarygyul and other
influential persons.
The ceremony was attended by representatives
of the Turkish government, international organizations, members of the
Turkish Parliament, Turkish businessmen.
