As a result of entrance of warm air masses into the country from the south the weather is abnormally hot. So, yesterday on June 13, the average daily temperature was 6,5 C above normal in Baku and Absheron peninsula, director of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry’s National Hydrometeorological Department Bureau Umayra Taghiyeva told. According to her, yesterday the maximum temperature was 35 C in Abhseron, 39 C in Mashtagha and 37.4 C in Baku.
Taghiyeva said that the weather will not change in the next two days, dry and abnormal hot weather will continue. The temperature will be 35…38 C in Baku and Absheron peninsula in the daytime and in some places of the peninsula will rise to 40 C. Mild south-east wind blow in Baku in the next two days.
The maximum temperature will be 35…40 C in Aran regions of the Republic and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The weather condition is expected to change on June 17. The temperature will gradually fall on June 17. The north wind will intensify on June 17 and it will cause in temperature change between 30…34 C. The weather condition will become cool on June 18, the windy weather will continue. The temperature will be 26…29 in the capital. The cool weather will last till June 20.
The weather condition will be unstable in Azerbaijan’s regions from June 17 till 19, it will be raining in some regions in the evening and at night and heavy rain is expected in mountainous and sub-mountainous regions.
