On September 19, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the
inauguration of the monument to Azerbaijani composer Fikret Amirov in
Baku. President Aliyev unveiled the monument and laid flowers at the
monument.
The 3.6-m bronze monument was designed by honored artist Namig Dadashov. The monument is surrounded by a newly-renovated park.
