President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Supreme Commander-in-chief has today attended a 2012 graduation ceremony of officers from special military educational institutions held at the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Higher Miiltary School.
Prior to the ceremony, the Head of State laid a wreath at national leader Heydar Aliyev`s monument. The President familiarized himself with reconstruction and upgraded facilities at the Azerbaijan Higher Military School.
The President proceeded to the stadium, graduation venue. Chief of the Higher Military School Mirzali Yusifov informed the President that the personnel has lined up for the graduation ceremony.

A moment of silence was observed in memory of shahids and national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The ceremony was opened by Defense Minister Safar Abiyev. The Supreme Commander-in-chief made his remarks at the ceremony.
Then, the President presented diplomas to cadets who graduated with honors. They also received gifts. The Head of State handed over authorization to occupy flats to a group of officers.
With the military banner, cadets marched in front of the President in the reviewing stand.
