The Ministry of Tourism of Egypt and Egyptian tour operators intend to continue the fruitful cooperation between the two countries for assesment of tourist potential of Egypt by Azerbaijanis.
Today Azerbaijani tourists have opportunity to obtain new, high-quality travel packages.
The statement came from the official representatives of the Egyptian Arab Republic while speaking to journalists at the press conference.
"In 2011-2013, the number of Azerbaijani tourists visiting Egypt droped slightly, but then popularity in this direction among Azerbaijanis has grown again.
So, for the past two years, Egypt was visited by thousands of Azerbaijani tourists.
December, January, March are the most popular months to travel."
According to to the Egypt tour agencies, a direct flight from Baku to Egypt will be launched soon:
"The flight will last 4 hours and the price of one ticket will be $350 in average."
it should be noted that today's press conference is being attended by the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Azerbaijan Susan Jamil. The decision on direct flights to Sharm el-Sheikh will be made on May 19.
