Amateur engineer from Lyuvasar Village Rizvan Gasimov invented the “flying machine” and tested the device, ANS TV reports.
To test the result of his two-year efforts, Gasimov, currently living and working in Baku, came for two days to his native village of Lyuvasar.
Since his childhood, Rizvan has shown a great interest in everything that flies and is made by human hands. Therefore, he entered the Physics and Mathematics boarding school, then studied at the Faculty of Physics, Baku State University. In the third year of his studying, Gasimov realized that the future profession does not meet his dreams and transferred to the Faculty of Radiotechnics at Azerbaijan Technical University. A remote and computer-controlled flying gadget is the result of all his dreams.
The robot can stick in the air and fly in standalone mode. According to the inventor, the potential for exploitation of the robot increases. It can become an irreplaceable when operating emergency, reconnaissance and search and rescue flights with an attached video camera during forest fires or in modern multistoried buildings.
Currently, the robot has the ability to shoot video and transmit it to the receiver. Now, Gasimov is working to increase the weight of a video camera up to 2 kg.
Weight of the flying machine reaches 4.5 kg. Its component parts were brought from abroad to Azerbaijan where Gasimov assembled his gadget at home.
He dreams of creating a plane and a helicopter. Yet, Rizvan has only layouts because of limited housing and working conditions.
