The admission of e-applications for teacher employment for 2012-2013 education year started in Azerbaijan.
The Education ministry told that the contest will be held this year for 3270 vacant teacher places (293 in Baku, 2977 – in the other regions and cities).
48 vacant teacher places fall into share of professional lyceums. 237 of vacant places in Baku are on Azerbaijani sector, 56 – Russian sector. 2886 of vacant places in the regions are on Azerbaijani sector, 91 – Russian sector.
Teacher of physical education is mostly needed in Baku. Number of vacant places on this subject is 45, 39 - teachers of primary class, 37 – English language, 25 – informatics, 23- mathematics, 21 – geography, 20 - basic military training and the other subjects.
Teacher of geography is mostly needed in Azerbaijani regions. Number of vacant places on this subject is 407, 373- chemistry, 341 – biology, 326 – Azerbaijani language and literature, 281 – chemistry, 248 – mathematics, 243 – history, 210 – history, 156 – informatics, 104 – primary class.
The filing of e-applications will continue till July 15.
