The exam on employment of directors of general education schools will be held in Azerbaijan, Department chief of Education Ministry Farzali Gadirov told. According to him, there are about 30 vacant director places in the schools of the country and said that the candidates presented the documents for these places: “All vacant director places are in the regions. The exam will be held for these places”.
Gadirov said that the director employment in Azerbaijan has been carried out by new rules: “The school directors are appointed and released from post by the Education Ministry. Their candidates are nominated by regional education department. The ministry researches their documents. The candidates meeting the requirements pass the e-exam.
According to the department chief, the candidates are submitted questions on management, educational legislation and communication skills: “Candidates, who passed exams successfully and then an interview is organized with the participation of the minister. Then the orders on director appointment are passed.”
