Unstable weather conditions in Baku are not characteristic for summer, senior hydrologist of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Asif Verdiyev told. According to him, such rains were also observed in previous summers: “Floods and flows were observed in previous summers in Azerbaijan.”
The senior hydrologist said that extreme hydrometeorological accidents increase in the world: “Flow, flood, heats and strong winds are included to it. For example, heats in Azerbaijan in 2010-2011, long-term heats in 2010.”
According to Verdiyev, the rains will continue in Azerbaijan at night and in the evening on July 11, 12 and 13. On July 11, 12 and 13 the weather will be changeable cloudy, gloomy and mainly dry in Baku and Absheron peninsula. The intermittent rain is expected in some places of the peninsula at night on July 13. The temperature will be 30…35 C on July 11-12, 28…33 C on July 13.
