Azerbaijani Emergency Ministry sent the next aid convoy to Russia’s Krasnodar Krai due to the natural disaster. The aid convoy included 22 vehicles.
20 vehicles included the drinking water, one vehicle – hygienic packages for children, one vehicle – dresses for women and children.
Commander of the Emergency Ministry’s Civil Defense Troops, General-Major Ilham Abdullayev told journalists that this is the second aid convoy, which is sent to Krasnodar Krai by the task of President Ilham Aliyev.
“The aid convoy will reach the disaster zone tomorrow”- Abdullayev said.
According to him, the Ministry’s 51 employees left for the disaster zone with the aid convoy. There are 38 employees of the Ministry in the zone now.
The first aid convoy sent on July 8 also included the 22 vehicles. The first convoy included the food products.
172 people died as a result of floods in Krasnodar Krai.
