Azerbaijan`s capital Baku will host the 7th International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development on October 18.
According to Azerbaijan`s State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, the four-day event will be organized by the government of Azerbaijan, United Nations Regional Commissions, International Energy Agency (IEA), International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Office in Azerbaijan, Copenhagen Centre on Energy Efficiency (C2E2), and the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21).
The forum will bring together more than 300 international energy experts, government officials, representatives of business and financial sectors, scientists and civil society members.
The forum will feature a high-level session with plenary meetings, parallel workshops and site visits.
