Famous Turkish singer İbrahim Tatlıses married his long-time girlfriend Tuesday night at a suprise wedding. Tatlıses said his decision was sparked by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan when he suggested that it was time Tatlıses had his own family. The witnesses present were the Galatasaray soccer coach Fatih Terim and businessman Yüksel Çağlar. Tatlıses was shot recently and required several operations before he could recover. The singer still suffers from paralysis in his left hand.
