Azerbaijan will send an aircraft to Israel to extinguish the forest fires in the country.
The Emergency Situations Ministry said that the Israeli government has appealed to the Azerbaijani government to assist in fighting the forest fires raging through the country.
Under the relevant instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, the ministry launched preparatory work to send BE-200CS amphibious aircraft with necessary fire-fighting equipment to Israel.
