President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, state and government representatives visited the grave of Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honor on Dec. 12 on the occasion of the anniversary of his death.
The Head of State laid a wreath at the grave. The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.
Following this, President Ilham Aliyev visited the graves of ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, prominent statesman Aziz Aliyev and prominent doctor, scientist Tamerlan Aliyev and laid wreathes, flowers on their graves.
