Based on unanimous decision made by the Board of Directors of the European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry (EEIG), the “European Museum Standard” (EUMS) has been awarded to the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art of the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic. The honorary diploma of the said standard has been presented by the President of EEIG representative office in Azerbaijan, Mr. Nizami Piriyev to the Minister of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic, Mr. Abulfaz Garayev at the premises of the Ministry of Culture.
It should be noted that the “European Museum Standard” is awarded to selected museums that meet standards and criteria established by the European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry situated in Brussels, suit the certain concept of the museum, provide high-quality museum services and are professionally experienced with availability of special consultation services. Certificate awarded to the National Art Museum in Azerbaijan will be delivered to Professor Chingiz Farzaliyev, Director of museum.
