French Buig company shows interest in metro construction in Azerbaijan’s capital

Buig company of France shows interest in construction works conducted in Khatayi-Hazi Aslanov-2 stations of Baku Metro.

According to information, Buig company met with the leadership of Baku Metro for the next time and gave information about the details of the presented project.

‘One of the urgent duties of metro in the coming 5 years is to separate the existing two lines from each other. 4 offers were submitted to the Metro. The last project belongs to French Buig company. Buig company tried to substantiate that 28 May station will be closed only 3 weeks during this process. They are ready to sign a protocol of intentions’, told the Metro.
Metro also reported that Buig company began to show interest in metro construction in Baku in Q1 of 2012. That time, they were interested in construction of Blue line. But during the first meeting with company representatives, chief of Baku Metro Tagi Ahmadov informed them about the current issues and the agenda. He told them that the more urgent issue is separation of the existing lines from each other.
Representatives of French company interested in this offer and they noted that, they had technique, equipment and specialist group for it and started projection work: “Within the president’s business visit to France, Buig representatives answered question to president on metro construction and got an detailed answer. Generally, the head of the state noted that, there was a local company on this issue but it was possible to involve foreign company“.
Buig company also interested in other sphere. They intend to interest in construction of tunnels and 3 stations in the sphere of Khatayi – Hazi Aslanov-2, researched by Ukrainian Interbudmontaj Company.
