Closure of the central streets of Baku has resulted in massive traffic jams in the city.
There are long traffic jams from Heydar Aliyev avenue and Bayil towards the center of the city. Traffic has been disrupted for several hours.
Department chief of Baku Main Traffic Police Office Vagif Asadov told that traffic jam was connected with the security measures taken in the capital due to Formula 1 show. Asadov said information had been given about it. He reiterated that roads had been closed in the direction of Azadlig square. Drivers are asked to use alternative roads.
