The volume of foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan in January-August 2017, decreased by 9.24% compared to the same period in 2016 and amounted to $ 12 523.8 mln.
According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Republic, in comparison with the previous year, the volume of foreign trade reduced by 4,22% and made 5 300,8 mln. USD, exports decreased by 12.60% to 7,223.0 mln. USD.
As a result, positive saldo in sum of 1 922 mln USD was observed in foreign trade operations which is 7.7 times more than in the same period last year.
According to report, during the first eight months of 2017, Azerbaijan has traded with 180 countries. During this period, Azerbaijan exported 2,775 products and imported 7,061 types of products to the country.
