Therefore, actions by the Caucasus Islamic Army are important for the entire Turkic world".
Speaking about the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the diplomat stressed that there are no analogues to these relations in the world: "Many states admire these relations. It is not without reason. Today, the main factor to maintain relations between the two countries at the highest level is our spirit. We are two nations of the same history, roots and culture. Today we are one nation two states. As I have always said, Azerbaijan's power is the power of Turkey, and Turkey's is of Azerbaijan. It will remain like this as in 1918, even after a thousand years".
The ambassador said that Azerbaijan made a great work since restoration of its independence: "Today, Turkey and Azerbaijan carry out giant joint projects such as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Erzurum, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars and the Southern Gas Corridor. I commemorate the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for us to see it".
