Exhibition of Nizami Gandjavi's original manuscripts and illustrations was organized in USA by Egypt Library of Alexandria, Azerbaijan International Center of Nizami Gandjavi and Karabakh Foundation. The director of Library of Alexandria, World Electronic Library Ismail Serageldin emphasized that Nizami is an immortal poet, philosopher, and scientist, who contributed much to increasing cultural and spiritual wealth of mankind: Nizami Gandjavi is the father of Eastern culture. He contributed to the entire world culture beyond the borders of Azerbaijan where he was born and grown up.
Chairman of the State Committee on Religious Associations Elshad Isgandarov, representatives of Embassy of Azerbaijan in USA also attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
