Azerbaijani farmer understand the productivity of joint works and agricultural coopertaion started in the country, said the chairman of Agrarian Policy Committee Eldar Ibrahimov: “Azerbaijan already has cooperations.
Farmers started to unite in cooperatives. Because of usage from technique in 3-5 ha areas is expensive. That’s why it needs to create large economies”.
He says Azerbaijan taken the practice of different developed countries, as well Germany into consideration while it elaborated draft law on agricultural cooperations. This draft law will allow regulating the process on cooperations’ creation and applying simulator mechanisms.
Chairman noted that as a result of cooperations, most of agricultural products will be produced by farmer economies.
The Director of Research Institute of Economy and Organization of Agriculture (IEOA) Sadiq Salahov said that the law cooperation also includes simulator mechanisms for uniting of farmers: “According to draft law, the minimum number of farmers in the cooperations must be 5”.
