US Embassy and Heydar Aliyev Foundation work on job training project for girls

The implementation of the Sustainable Change Project in Azerbaijan funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) was finished. A ceremony has been held today on this occasion. The project aims to support the destitute children.
US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza said the project has been implemented since 2004 and it helped to improve the life conditions of 30 000 children, 8000 families in 12 regions of Azerbaijan.
Bryza spoke about the future projects as well. He noted that US Embassy and Heydar Aliyev Foundation are working on the job training project. “This is new project and it aims to involve the girls in job training”.
