Azerbaijani student Orkhan Abbasov’s film New York was shown at Sinematheque, famous movie theater in Paris.
10 of the 40 films made by students of the International Film and Television School of Paris have been selected by jury to be viewed at the historical cinema theater.
The jury consists of a group of experienced film specialists in film industry known in France and international arena.
The historical cinema theater with an archive of 40,000 films and thousands of documents has one of the biggest film database in the world.
The Sinematheque was established in 1936, also has film museum with a lot of exhibits about film industry.
After viewing the films, students were awarded with diplomas. Orkhan Abbasov is the first Azerbaijani student to receive master diploma of International Film and Television School of Paris.
