TURKSOY painting exhibition opens in Milan

The International Organization of Turkic Culture, TURKSOY, has launched a paintings exhibition at the World Culture House in Milan, Italy.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with Department of Cultural Affairs of the Municipality of Milan and the Culture Association of Azerbaijan in Italy.
The two-week exhibition will feature works by artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the TRNC, the Republic of Altai, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Hakassia, the Republic of Saha Yakutia, Tatarstan, the Republic of Tyva and the Gagauz Place. Works more than 30 painters as Rashad Mehdiyev,Mammadhuseyn Huseynov from Azerbaijan are demonstrated there. Secretary-General of TURKSOY Dusen Kaseinov and head of the culture administration of Milan municipality Umbertyo Mareno opened the exhibition. Representative of Azerbaijan embassy in Roma Zaur Farkhadov, chairman of Azerbaijan Culture Center in Azerbaijan Mayis Nuriyev, representative of Culture and Tourism Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan in TURKSOY Elchin Gafpharli, representatives of diplomatic representation of European and Turkic speaking countries attended to the opening ceremony.
The exhibition, which already traveled to France, Germany, Luxemburg and Lithuania, marks the 20th anniversary of the declaration of independence of Turkic countries. The exhibition will last to July 3.
