Qarabag found new forward to replace Dino Ndlovu, whom the club sold to Chinese Hangzhou Greentown.
This is Khama Billiat, who currently plays for Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa. The forward of Zimbabwean national team did not want to sign a new contract his club offered him. As a result, 28-year-old forward made angry the head coach Pitso Mosimane. Mosimane has recently removed him from the main team. Billiat is persistent to leave the SA league as other European clubs are interested with him. Qarabag is said to offer to the experienced forward 500 000 Zimbabwean dollar/month (about $ 90 000).
The selling price of Billiat equals to $ 2.5 million. Currently, Azerbaijani club hold talks for decreasing this amount.
Khama Billiat, nicknamed as Kamaldinho used to play for Zimbabwean club CAPS United, South African club Ajax Cape Town. Since 2013, he appeared in 63 matches of Mamelodi Sundowns and scored 23 goals. Since 2011, in Zimbabwean national team he appeared in 26 matches and scored 7 goals.
In his current club, Billiat two times became winner of South African championship (2013-2014 and 2015-2016), CAF Champions League (2016) and African Super Cup (2017).
