Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish Prime Minister Recep
Tayyip Erdogan joined through videoconferencing the groundbreaking
ceremony of the Vocational School named after Heydar Aliyev.
The school will start functioning in 2012-2013 academic year. There will
be 24 classrooms, 10-flat residential building and a gym in 720-student
school. Parliamentarian from Izmir Aydin Shengul said the school, which
will perform the function of education bridge between the Caspian and
Aegean seas, after Ceyhan and Kars will be the symbol of “one nation,
two states” ideal in the education system of the Aegean region.
